He joined Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 1985. Following college, he served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1989.
After serving in U.S. Army, Mike served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in its Chicago office, handling crime, and public corruption from 1989 to 1994.
